I grew up in an old house I love old houses. And about 6 years ago,
while driving to a customer site, I saw a for-sale sign and some
flyers. I picked one up, and when I got home to our "built to our
specs with custom kitchen home" that night, I told my wife that this
was going to be our new home. She looked at the price and the
location, and said "yeah, right".
About a month later, after several other old houses had been bought out from under us, we decided to go out and look I was hooked. She though I had lost my mind, but since she loves me so much, she agreed to move out here.
It's been an adventure, and I have had the opportunity to learn MANY new skills and get lots of expensive power tools !
